As the year kicked off, iBall was busy showing off its stylish and affordable phones, catering to low to mid range phone users. This doesn’t mean the popular peripheral maker was set to bid goodbye to tablets after entering the rat race somewhere around September last year. The company has now introduced the next Slide – the Slide i7218 – in its ‘Performance series’, which retains some of the best abilities of its predecessor, along with adding some newer attributes.
The i7218 also has an HDMI port to connect it to a larger display, while connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G using an external dongle (that needs to be purchased separately). Its 4400 mAh battery can provide backup for up to 6.5 hours of music and 5 hours of video, according to specs.
