Panasonic was nowhere to be seen in the ever growing tablet
world in the Post-PC era. This time around, Panasonic has
decided to get in on some of the fun, and has announced its 7-
inch, Android-running BizPad JT-580VT. While there isn’t
any mention of what price it will come in at or if it will be
coming to the US, there are some pretty good specs inside its
plastic frame. The speciality of these tablets is that they’ll
feature the latest Android Honeycomb 3.2. The tablets are
rugged (enterprise customers don’t treat tablets nicely, huh?)
and also water resistent. Under the tough shell, Panasonic
BizPad offers dual core ARM Cortex A-9 processor, 16 GB of
internal memory which should be enough for most of the
users, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity and NFC
capabilities via IC Card Reader. The 7? tablet has WSVGA
1024 x 600 resistive LCD screen.
