Archos wants to enter the market for devices for children with their latest device, the Archos Child Pad. The tablet runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), it has a 7" screen and features a 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Archos will access the Kids Child Pad App Store, which offers 14 categories and 10,000 apps. The user interface is specially designed for children, with colorful icons, folders on the home page provides direct access to games, entertainment, learning applications and reflection, but also 28 of the best programs for children such as Angry Birds , Flight Pig, and Rush Frenzy. Parental control and a secure Internet navigation are also included in the unit.
