Concepts: Collector USB Flash Drive Concept

As technology becomes more and more pervasive in society, the Collector USB Flash Drive may definitely be an item many would want to purchase considering its advanced ...

The idea is simple. A USB Stick accommodates small capacity memory cards. Custom configure the stick or simply keep expanding, just do your techie thing and be happy! What a great way to use all those smaller cards laying around the house. Not sure how it deals with partitioning unless there are some smarts built-in to deal with hot swapping.
If made,Collector USB Flash Drive would allow you to dynamically change the storage of a USB flash drive, adding to the base storage. For example, if the base USB flash drive has 32 GB, and each of the microSD cards is 16 GB, then you could be looking at a combined storage capacity of 80 GB.

Concepts: Plug Cup Concept

A simple 180° rotating 2-pin plug at the base of the cup hooks on to any power source; so imagine this hanging off the powerstrip where computer plugs are hitched! A tight lid ensures no spills and a clamp lock keeps the cup upright at the base. The good thing is that the heating element detaches so that the cup can be cleaned easily. Coffee mix, tea, water bottle….all will sit right next to printer!

Concepts: Samsung Galaxy Skin Flexible AMOLED Display Concept Phone

A concept of flexible and ultra-thin smartphone: Samsung Galaxy skin. The particularity of this project is the latest generation represented by the use of special materials that make the terminal fully flexible and thin as a sheet of paper. The concept, called Samsung Galaxy skin, can fold into two or four parts as needed or being used as a video projector.

A recent survey  reveals that a great percentage of mobile customers in the United States are owners of smartphones and also that smartphones are responsible for the majority of purchases of new cell phone.

Smartphone is a gadget that has classified the convenience of a tiny computer that can be easily taken anywhere. With smartphones increasing becoming a trend around the globe, iPhones along with Android phones are now components of many households.
A few months after, Samsung confirmed the manufacture of the AMOLED displays which are flexible and set to be debuted by June 2012. At the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 in Las Vegas, Samsung showed off its AMOLED displays. The displays are bendable, can be rolled all the way up and they can even withstand direct hits from a hammer.
The concept for this new mobile phone leaps ahead of the smartphone era to usher in the era of the “Genius Phone.”So, we’ve seen dual-core processors in phones, Massive screen sizes that are too big to fit in your pocket and we’ve even explored the third dimension with phones like the Optimus 3D and Evo 3D. Where do we go from here? How about flexible displays then. Samsung showed off their concept phone, called the ‘Skin’ in South Korea in June and earlier, at CES 2011. The phone uses a special flexible AMOLED screen instead of glass that uses a plastic polyimide substrate. Due to this, the display is flexible enough to bend around a cylinder measuring just an inch in diameter
In the place of a glass display, the AMOLED flexible one utilizes a polyimide substrate made from plastic. Research has revealed that by using plastic polyimide in place of glass, the flexible displays will have the capacity to wrap around a 1-inch cylinder. The flexible display receives electrical signals which result in physical deformation; which is the polymer core technology that is electrically active. One of the best features of the flexible displays is that they make use of AMOLED technology, which means that they are equipped with low energy consumption and bright screens. Furthermore, Samsung has joined forces with Ube Kosan, a company in Japan, which will most likely play a vital role in manufacture of the AMOLED flexible displays.

Best Ways to Propose A Girl

Concepts: Finder – Locate Your Stuff Where You Left | Awesome RFID Locator

The most splendid idea to locate your dialy use objects inside your home like your car keys, your door keys, phone, wallet etc.The RFID locator basically comprise of two units the main terminal and the tab stickers, you just have to stick the tracking stickers to the objects that have more chances to lost here and there.Configure the sticker with the appropriate label on the main terminal and you are set to use it. The figure below illustrates the functioning of the device and it’s configuration.

Don’t you just hate it when you are in a hurry, and you can’t find your keys or your mobile phone? Usually right then it’s even impossible to remember where you might have put them since you are in such a hurry and stress keeps your brain from functioning properly. I remember the “whistler” when I was a kid. It was a little device that you put on your key chain that beeped when you whistled. It was a great little gadget, and it must be up there with innovative things such as the Clapper for example. However, when the batteries where drained, you just cursed it as much as you cursed your keys being gone, am I right?
An RFID chip is installed into your gadgets or the things you want to keep track of, and once you misplace them, you are able to find exactly where they are with the help of your smartphone. It will display how far the gadget or item is from you and in what direction. All you have to do is to follow the direction (which I guess updates as you walk), and eventually you will find your misplaced items. It couldn’t get more easy to use, and I personally can’t wait for this to come around. So far it is just on a concept idea, but I think with a bit of funding and dedication, this could really become a huge thing. We would all save so much time if we could immediately locate our things when we’re in a hurry, right? Brilliant!

Concepts: Heart Beat Phone

The mobile technology world seems to bring a never-ending stream of new ideas and products that have changed our lives forever.

Just when you thought that relationship couldn’t get any more intense, the Heartbeat Mobile Phone conceptcomes into the mix. Korean designer Sang Hoon Lee sees an inflating and deflating phone as an alternative method of receiving calls. On his website, he adds that “perhaps a mobile phone will soon become one’s second avatar to express the person.” The concept explores the idea of being able to detect the emotional state of the person calling. You simply ‘pop’ the inflated phone to answer! In a similar way to Apple’s dock icons, the icons on the Heartbeat Phone will increase in size when you hover over them.
In his own words: “In the future, there will be various forms of reception method instead of sound or vibration. Perhaps a mobile phone will soon become one’s second avatar to express the person. Accordingly I Propose as follows: This mobile phone will notify the reception like a human heartbeat of inflating and deflating. Furthermore, it can notify the person’s emotional state with heartbeat, which can also be sent to the other person. The mobile phone icons that are in hemoglobin or water drop shape will change in their sizes on a transparent window according to how often they are used, and clicking the icon will pop and execute it. When the mobile phone is grabbed, the icons will pop out in the middle through multi-tasking function.”
