Concepts: Infiniti Essence Concept

The Infiniti Essence Concept, introduced at Geneva 2009, is unlike most concept cars in that it is presented with Louis Vuitton luggage matched to the new supercar that is custom fit inside the rear hatch. The Infiniti Essence uses a similar engine to the GT-R at its heart, but adds a newly-developed Nissan corporate electric motor to produce an extra 158 horsepower.

Far from a dressed up GT-R, the Infiniti Essence is hands 

down the most attractive car to ever come from Nissan, and 

arguably the most attractive Japanese car in history, concept 

or not. The instantly iconic design pulls elements from the 

GT-R and Infiniti’s own G37 Coupe, though resembles 

nothing on the market today.

There are hints of the Fisker Karma in the Essence’s front 

end, though the Essence Concept is infinitely more precisely 

executed than the Karma.

With a gasoline and electric combined output of 592 

horsepower, the Essence dwarfs even the Nissan GT-R in 

raw power. This is no track day car though, at a body length 

of 4720 mm the Essence is as long as a Rolls Royce and likely 

nearly as heavy.

Concepts: All-Terrain Electric Beast Concept

This new concept car redefines from scratch the guidelines for the development of eco-friendly vehicles: Nature is the most mind-boggling masterpiece of ever and her creatures are more blazing than a handcrafted jewelry, and this was well kept in Alekseev Andrey’s mind when he created this all terrain vehicle: in fact he got inspired by the Russian fairy tales in which the bears symbolize strength, kindness and mystique at the same time.

It was designed to face the terrible and harsh weather of 

Siberia, where is not uncommon to climb snowy roads or 

marshy and muddy ways. Misha broke down the 

embankment between jeep and eco-car: it gets power from 

the four electric motors housed on each wheel and it uses 

hydrogen fuel cells for the emission free rides.

Moreover, air suspension allows to change the ground 

clearance and Michelin wheels has retractable claws, like a 

bear, to grip on the most treacherous soil.

It is addressed to young families; its interior is very 

changeable: it burns as a car, but can easily become a mini-

rest room where the two front seats swivel to face the rear 

two and a large circular panel can be turned into a TV or 

games console.

The fantasy is about the experience and how we can a flat touchscreen intuitively rises to your finger touch and makes dialing or texting a whole new adventure. The added functionality of doubling up as a Braille phone just goes to so the versatile applications we can have to this kinda phone. Imagine what a PSP Phone like this will be….thrills unlimited!!!

Concepts: Audi One concept vehicle

This Audi One concept vehicle design was created by gifted Canadian artist Jason Battersby as part of his thesis project. Awarded for outstanding achievement, within cultural arts, the Audi One concept is designed to symbolize and promote human achievement, becoming a timeless sculpture each deserving recipient gets to keep and drive for one year at a time. Inspired by the Stanley Cup of the National Hockey League – which unlike most trophy’s – is not remade every year.

The Audi One celebrates these people’s legendary 

achievements, acting as an ambassador promoting the 

pursuit of dreams and the quest for success. Recipients would 

have their names engraved on one of the expressive fins 

cloaking the main volume and be given the Grand Tourer for 

the period of one year. Taking the role as flagship vehicle for 

the Audi brand, it will help promote and strengthen the 

brand’s values of sophisticated progressive design and 

embody sports appeal. Vorsprung Durch Technic or 

“Advancement through technology” will be seen through the 

use of materials on the brink of becoming mainstream.

The Audi One’s design focuses on creating a timeless

 sculpture that will represent the legendary men and woman 

who win this award. Inspired by timeless objects, the goal is 

to design an exterior that will stand the test of time, 

becoming a futuristic statement.

Not a Pamphlet, It’s a Smartphone:


Clutch your pearls because I’m about to say something 


amazing – nanoparticles! Yes these tiny, near invisible 


objects can revolutionize the bio medical, optical and 


electronic fields so designer Ilshat Garipov put pen to paper 


and came up with the Smartphone Booklet –  a disposable 


phone as thin as a cardboard made possible by switching 


from traditional silicon to nano particles.

The Booklet unfolds like a pamphlet with each side 

representing a commonly used application or function. 

Manufacturers can cut it to any size and once it’s worn out, 

just recycle it. Don’t worry about private information 

because everything is served from a cloud. Power is supplied 

by, SURPRISE, the sun thanks to energy absorbing 

nano particles.

How close is this to reality? Unfortunately not close enough 

but scientists are working feverishly to find a breakthrough 

in this field of study so in the meantime hold on to your
